1 on 1-Intensive Class

After 3 years of intensive 1 on 1 classes, I decided to develop a unique programm for students that really want to commit to learn German.

THIS PROGRAMME IS DEFINTELY THE MOST EFFECTIVE ONE AS THE FOCUS IS COMPLETLY ON YOU AND YOU ARE FORCED TO TALK GERMAN EVERY DAY

In my experience 90% of students dont have the right approach when it comes to learn this crazy language.

They are hyped at the beginning, take some 1 on 1 classes and stop very fast again when they dont see progress.

How is it possible that some students are able to hold a conversation in German after 3 months and other even fail ordering a bread in a German bakery after living in Berlin for 8 years?

Well, a lot of reasons, but let me try to sum it up quickly.

1. NO CONSISTENCY:

First week all-in, then the vacation to Ibiza, coming back and not starting it again.
Sounds familiar?

To be honest, I also fell into this trap and I am not perfect.
BUT:

not having a routine and consitency will fuck up your learning process.

1 hour of German on Tuesday with a teacher will BRING YOU TO NATIVE FLUENCY.

Yes you will improve it and get better but its not deep enough

and its not on a regular basis.

YOU NEED TO SPEAK, WRITE AND LISTEN TO GERMAN EVERY DAY

if you are not doing it, its basically impossible unless you are a polyglot, talented machine.

2. NO GUIDANCE

You are being productive and diligent, but is actually someone guiding you?
Do you know what you are doing?
Which material DO YOU USE?

IS A NATIVE CORRECTING YOU?
DO YOU USE REAL GERMAN ON A DAILY BASIS?

Are you writing a diary in German every day to improve Grammar and vocabulary?
Is someone checking it on a daily basis?

Are you sending voice mails to Natives in German every day?
Are you whats-apping  to Natives in German every day?
Are you working on your self-confidence every day in order to speak up in a social gathering
What material do you use?
Do you have fun doing it?
Are you in contact with other students that are learning the language?
Do you have access to natives?

WELL

I assume the answer to these questions is very likely to be

"NO"

Why am I saying this? In the course of my teaching career I saw a lot of different students and a lot of different results. I had students not improving at all.

On the other hand I had students that were able to speak very good German after one year.

So what was the biggest difference between these 2 students?

Pretty easy:

Dedication and time invested in the self-study+ the right method.

Most online-teachers will hate me for that but way more important than the actual class with the student is the self-study time.
What material do you use?
Do you have fun doing it?

Is someone guiding you?

Are you writing German everyday?

Is someone checking it?

Do you have access to natives?

For some people this price might sound very high but if you compare it to the prices of
